Overlooking the shores of Lake Toba, located in North Sumatra, is the Sipangan Bolon farmer cooperative who have grown this awesome coffee. Members of the co-op also receive training on tree management, pruning & picking as well as great things like conservation of the natural environment and safe working conditions.

Giling Basah – Once picked the coffee goes through a 12 hour fermentation process before being dried for 2-3 days. After reaching a 35-40% moisture content it is then sent for hulling (removing the husk) and dried to 12% so it can be stored.
