Josh Crook’s Mk2 Golf

“YO so here it is my 1989 MKII 1.8 GTI Volkswagen Golf.
My absolute pride and joy, this car means so much to me it was the car that I always wanted throughout school and college. While all the other people are dreaming about wanting a Lamborghini or Ferrari all I ever wanted was a MKII Golf and I finally have one. As most old cars it’s not perfect but it’s a project so bit of tinkering and work needs to be done but that’s what I love and part of the fun of owning an old car like this. Because there’s always something to be done and it’s never finished you can always improve, making it better making it your own and getting the satisfaction out of your own work! Then going cruising down to the beach with all the crews cars parked up BBQ on the go and sipping on an Ice cold Jimmy’s and it can’t get much better than that.

As for the mods it has been lowered on coilovers and is now sat on bbs split rims with stretched tires. It’s also had the brakes upgraded, electric windows fitted, central locking fitted, and much more but in the next couple of years I’m looking to do an engine swap to a VW Corrado 1.8 G60 supercharged engine but all in all I absolutely love this car every time I see it puts a smile on my face and makes my day!¬†Peace out!” –¬†Josh Crook
